ok so lissa lent me this movie called ginger snaps and i need everyone to understand that this is the most important film ever made. its about two sisters and one of them gets bitten by a werewolf and its a metaphor for puberty and female rage and codependent love and i am LOSING MY MIND.

the way ginger and brigitte need each other?? the way brigitte would literally do anything to save her sister?? the practical effects?? the fact that its a canadian horror movie from 2000 and NOBODY talks about it??

also i just realized i have a thing for stories about girls who love each other in ways that scare them. huh. cant imagine why.

in other news: i read twilight because literally everyone at school wont shut up about it. its... fine. the vampire stuff is cool i guess but honestly bella is boring and edward is creepy and the werewolf stuff is better. jacob is annoying tho. i wrote a whole essay on 4chan about how ginger snaps is superior to twilight in every way and got like 200 replies. some agreed. most called me slurs. classic /x/.

ok so ash recommended this anime called NANA like 3 months ago and i just finished all 47 episodes and i am NOT ok. i am the opposite of ok. i am lying on my floor surrounded by tissues.

nana and hachi's relationship is literally the most beautiful and devastating thing i have ever witnessed. the way nana loves hachi so much but cant say it the right way?? the way they keep almost reaching each other but something always pulls them apart?? WHO AUTHORIZED THIS.

i drew like 6 pieces of nana fanart while watching. ill post them soon. theres one of nana O playing guitar in the rain that i think is the best thing ive ever drawn.

also haibane renmei?? ash made me watch that too and now i understand what it feels like to have an anime reach inside your chest and rearrange your organs. the whole thing about being broken and finding peace and the walls and... yeah.

R texted me during episode 36 and i was literally crying and she asked "whats wrong" and i said "anime" and she said "ur such a nerd lol" and then "but a cute nerd" and i have been thinking about those 4 words for approximately 11 hours straight.

a cute nerd. she said cute. about me. im going to draw this feeling.

SUMMER IS HERE and that means i can finally draw without having to hide my sketchbook from mrs. peterson who told me my art was "concerning" last semester. sorry my werewolf girl had blood on her hands karen its called ARTISTIC EXPRESSION.

also i found this site called vampirefreaks and its like myspace but for goths?? everyone there is so cool. i met this person called sam who keeps sending me creepy links from 4chan's /x/ board. theres this story about a tall man with no face that honestly freaked me out but also... i kinda wanna draw him??

R came over yesterday to swim and she was wearing this red bikini and i literally had to pretend i got water in my eyes so she wouldnt see me being WEIRD about it. being gay is so exhausting lmao.

lissa says i should enter my art in the hot topic design contest. imagine my vampire girl on a t-shirt?? i would simply pass away.

everyone at school is carrying around roses and teddy bears and im just sitting here in my MCR hoodie trying not to look at R who got a carnation from tyler davis. TYLER DAVIS. the boy who eats glue in art class. she was smiling about it tho so i guess thats... fine. its fine.

jess got me a candy heart that said "BITE ME" on it which is literally the most perfect valentines gift anyone has ever received. we spent lunch watching t.A.T.u. music videos on her sidekick.

i drew R a vampire portrait in my sketchbook. she looks so good with fangs. obviously i cant give it to her because then id have to explain why i drew my "best friend" as an immortal creature of the night looking like THAT and im not ready for that conversation.

went home and watched but im a cheerleader for the 47th time. one day ill be brave like megan. one day.

OK SO lissa finally taught me enough html to make my own page and i am literally shaking rn?? like this is MY corner of the internet. mine. i can put whatever i want here and nobody from school can say anything about it.

i already have so many ideas. im gonna put my art up (the vampire drawings AND the werewolf ones), im gonna have a playlist, im gonna have a whole page for my friends. R is gonna be my #1 obviously lol. she doesnt even know this site exists yet. maybe ill show her... maybe not.

jess says the layout looks "sick as hell" and mikey already asked if he can put his bands demo on here. lissa says i learned html faster than anyone shes ever taught. she gave me a whole folder of blinkies to use lmaooo

this is gonna be my everything. my diary, my art gallery, my scream-into-the-void space.
